ATLS® Albania Student Course – September 5–7, 2025 : “Empowering Trauma Care in Albania”

We are delighted to announce that from September 5–7, 2025, Tirana will host the ATLS® Albania Student Course, organized by the Albanian Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ASTES) with the support and approval of the Committee on Trauma (COT) of the American College of Surgeons (ACS).

Course Overview

ATLS® (Advanced Trauma Life Support) is an internationally recognized, highly effective training program designed to equip healthcare professionals with systematic approaches for the initial assessment and management of trauma patients.

  • Format: Student Course
  • Participants:
    • 16 student candidates
    • 5 expert instructors
    • 10 supporting staff members
  • Core Topics:
    • Primary and secondary survey techniques
    • Airway management, breathing support, and hemorrhage control
    • Circulation assessment and shock management
    • Disability evaluation and neurologic assessment
    • Exposure, environmental control, and definitive care planning

    • ASTES – the Albanian Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery holds exclusive rights to deliver the ATLS® Student Course in Albania.
  • Certification:
    • Accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
    • Internationally recognized certification—equivalent to ATLS® courses offered in the USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Canada, Portugal, Greece, and beyond.
  • Global Validity:
